The Lyric Artisan LA-1 is a handmade flute featuring a sterling silver headjoint with silver plated nickel silver body tubing and mechanism. Standard with stainless steel springs, the highest tensile strength in springs important for performance, balance and regulation of the flute mechanism. Every Lyric features a hand-cut headjoint giving the flute deep, colorful tones. The LA-1 comes standard with open holes, low B footjoint, a black French style case, a plush-lined nylon case cover with shoulder strap and French style pointed tonearms, The beautiful design of the pointed tonearms gives the flute a more professional appearance while adding a slight amount of weight.

Lyric Artisan LA-1E
Every feature found in the LA-1 is found in the LA-1E with the addition of Split E Mechanism. The Split E divides the action of the upper and lower G keys, permitting the lower G to close when the third octave E natural is played. This mechanism ensures tonal stability of the high E, secure attacks and smooth slurs between the third octave A and E.
